One hospital has a staff that is helping to reduce some of that anxiety by calling and checking on patients every 48 hours who are waiting for test results. The Columbus Regional Health COVID-19 Follow-up Registry staff reaches out and helps to answers questions and alleviate concerns. These actions have also helped to reduce unnecessary visits to the Emergency Room and Respiratory Clinics for patients.
