There are many reasons nurses choose their career path, most often it is to care for others. Brandi Allen, RN, BSN, at Methodist Hospitals discovered she wanted to be a nurse when she was very young. After watching ICU nurses care for her grandmother when she became very ill. Brandi now enjoys working in the Emergency Department where her work team feels like a large family.
