Working in healthcare is a rewarding yet challenging career. Kayla Sims, RN at Margaret Mary Health, shares a touching story about spending time with a patient while they were alone and dying from COVID-19. Although heartbreaking and difficult, she felt it was an honor to provide care and companionship for the patient in their last moments. Kayla says that to her, being a nurse is about making an impact on people’s lives and truly making a difference.
